Anthony James "AJ" Allmendinger nicknamed as "The Dinger" an american racecar driver is in hot seat now after failing NASCAR's drug policy test for the second they tried to have lat July 24, 2012.
Coming from NASCAR that they have the most notable team who is doing their best to work with the drivers but is saddened of this unfortunate outcome.
NASCAR spokesman David Higdon sais that''While not a pleasant experience by any stretch of the imagination, we feel like we have one of the best drug testing programs in sports,''
AJ got suspended of his back up "B" urine sample tested Tuesday by Aegis Analytical Laboratories which is located in Nashville, TN and had the original positive result for drugs.
Officials of NASCAR did not further specify though on what substance did AJ was banned for and even Allmendinger himself denied what stimulant it was and was noted that it could have been a banned substance.
Manager of AJ whom is Tara Ragan mentioned that, ''This was not the news we wanted to hear and we will work to get to the source of what may have caused this,''
NASCAR official Higdon said that 'We choose not to disclose the level,'' ''To us, a violation is a violation, and that's what happened here.''
The team explained, ''Penske Racing is very disappointed with the result of the B sample test and will evaluate its course of action as it pertains to AJ over the coming week,''
And that the No.22 car that is driven by AJ is said to be driven by Sam Hornish Jr. for the NASCAR event.
AJ though can still make up and participate with NASCAR's events but will have to comply to their ''road to recovery'' program in which he needs to participate and a letter will be given that he must
agree .
Shell and Pennzoil sponsors of AJ in a statement says that what the officials of NASCAR was fair and was "appropriate".
AJ is the second driver who got suspended by NASCAR after a tight policy implemented following Jeremy Mayfield.
Allmendinger was feeling overwhlemed though with his fans swarming in Twitter of wishing him the best out of this difficulty he is in. He event mentioned, ''I'm sorry we even have to have this going on. But I promise I will do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of this and get back out there no matter what,''
